Requirements: - National Senior Certificate (Minimum)
- 3+ years relevant experience in supervisory management
- Working knowledge of SAP, Excel and Word
Responsibilities: - Co-ordination of production, loading and transport
- Capture all outward movements of CHEP pallets (THAN & PCN); monitor CHEP pallet stock level and re-order as necessary; conduct regular stock counts
- Ensure finished goods store is run in accordance with plant policies and procedures
- Conduct monthly stock take for finished goods maintaining a minimum level of stock difference
- Arrange third party transport for long distance deliveries
- Responsible for management and organisation of permanent staff in reporting structure.
- Ensure that workplace safety standards are met and that appropriate safety clothes, shoes, hearing protection, etc are used.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure that flow of production is maintained.
- Communicate daily with team members and Sales Co-Ordinator
- Printing of picking lists and invoicing during periods of absence of Sales Co-Ordinator.
Suitable candidate must have good interpersonal skills at all levels, have good problem-solving skills.
