Job Description:
The Chief Veterinarian provides professional veterinary services, including both surgical and medical diagnostics and treatment, as required to all animals. Provides clinical and surgical veterinary services as detailed for a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. Carries out and amends establish procedures for professional veterinary services concerned with animal treatment, vaccination and record maintenance. Maintains stand proper professional veterinary practice directs and supervises animal control and rabies prevention programs as per approved medical practices. The incumbent requires to be licensed to practice Veterinary Medicine form the Ministry of Environment Water and Agriculture-Animal Welfare.
Minimum Requirements:
Veterinary Science Degree from a recognized University of Veterinary Science in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, or South Africa.
Current valid License to practice Veterinary Medicine in their country of origin, as specified above.
Current valid License, or eligibility to obtain a valid License, to practice in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. (optional)
Ideally five (5) years experience in general veterinary disciplines, both surgical and medical.
Experience in equine medicine and surgery.
Extensive experience in small animal veterinary medicine and surgery is required.
Duties & Responsibilities:

Provides supervision of all Veterinary Services and directs administrative activities of the clinics
Provides clinical and surgical veterinary services as detailed for a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine
Carries out and amends established procedures for professional veterinary services concerned with animal treatment, vaccination and record maintenance
Provides consultation and advice for other Veterinarians
Maintains standards of proper professional veterinary practices, proposes recommendations for innovations in equipment, materials and techniques within the Clinic and participates in and contributes to a quality assurance program
Oversees Boarding and Grooming Services through the function of the Boarding Coordinator
Act as single point of contact for assigned proponent organization dealing with Customers and Govt. in all related matters.
