In support of IMSAF's ongoing efforts to enhance organisational performance and provide employee development opportunities, the company is pleased to invite applications for a ROFA Market Analyst in the Revenue Generation ROFA department.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelors Degree with emphasis on Finance, Business and Marketing
- Previous work experience within the Sales & Market environment preferably 5 years
- Ability to interpret data and convert it into usable information
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with special emphasis on Excel and Power Point
- Good communication and presentation skills
- African region economic and political awareness (Environmental scanning)
- Good understanding and use of forecasting tools and methodologies
- Ability to communicate the sales plan based on sound forecasting principals
- Self - motivated and task orientated
- Abilility to adapt to ever changing circumstances
- Working knowledge of SAP
- Very strong analytical skills and abilities
Duties and Responsibilities
- Update the forecasting model with last month's actuals.
- Balance forecast to previous, review outlook and submit to finance.
- Ensure that wholesale objectives are contemplated in the plan.
- Ensure that the sales plan balances demand with supply.
- Management of stocking levels for both dealer and plant.
- Develop alternative strategies for environmental changes.
- Develop sales plan stretch targets.
- Develop proposals to account for any changes in markets or sales.
- Prepare and present the sales plan to ensure there is common understanding and the best alternative is selected.
- Track performance vs budget plan and highlight/monitor areas of opportunity.
- Analyse stock days and retail reporting from ROFA markets.
- Implement Vehicle Order Pipeline report for all ROFA markets.
- Track monthly Vehicle Order Pipeline submissions from ROFA markets.
- Prioritise or adjust volumes per model based or any customer inputs or profitability objectives.
- Monitor pipeline inventory and propose adjustments where necessary.
- Make adjustments based on supply and on demand.
- Control the finished stock.
- Work with Planning in defining and developing the long term plan for ROFA.
- Present the sales plan for review and ensure buy in from Revenue Generation.
- Develop sales volume launch plans and ensure buy-in.
- Monitor program master timing charts.
- Conduct continuous business analyses, performance analyses, competetive analyses etc.
- Identify sales opportunities based on all the analysis.
- Set up and maintain the dealer reward and recognition performance tracking worksheet
- Track dealer progress for the sales element.
- Conduct special projects on behalf of ROFA Senior managers as and when required.
