Datacentre Manager
Managed Talent Solutions’ client in the Agricultural sector is looking for a Datacentre Manager.
This position is primarily responsible for:
- Maintenance, support and deployment of all hosting solutions as well as the associated support thereof.
- Management and maintenance of Active Directory.
- Assist in maintaining all corporate systems including corporate email, collaboration, SQL servers, application servers, hosted file repositories and all cloud-based hosting environments.
- Maintaining a monitoring system to detect faults or resource outages for all systems, backups and the retention thereof.
- Responsible for business continuity from cradle to grave.
- Ensure excellent IT service delivery to business and affiliates through effective management of datacentre infrastructure services in line with 3rd party service level agreements.
- Accountable for the end-to-end data centre infrastructure stability and performance – including integrated or related services like networks, IT security and applications.
The successful candidate will need to meet the following requirements:
- Grade 12.
- ITIL 4.0.
- A+.
- N+.
- A minimum of 8 years working experience in an IT environment with relevant IT Infrastructure management experience.
- Exceptional knowledge of cloud datacentres, physical datacentres, hosting platforms, IoT, ITIL principles.
- Knowledge of different infrastructure architecture frameworks.
- Crisis management and critical thinking skills.
- Service delivery experience and customer service orientation.
- Presentation skills and excellent verbal and written communications skills.
