Sales/Marketing/Operations Manager
Mobile Automated Racking and Shelving Specialists seeks a Sales/Marketing/Operations Manager to collaborate with senior management in the development of performance goals and long-term operational plans.
Duties & Responsibilities
You will:
- Maximize efficiency and productivity through extensive process analysis and interdepartmental collaboration.
- Set strategic goals for operational efficiency and increased productivity.
- Work with department managers in the development of financial and budgetary plans.
- Analyse current operational processes and performance, recommending solutions for improvement where necessary.
- Adhere to the company’s policies and standards and ensure that laws and regulations are being followed.
Responsibilities:
Sales and Marketing
- Develop strategic objectives related to sales and marketing functions.
- Build initiatives for establishing a brand and corporate identity.
- Oversee sales and marketing projects and ensure the efficient running of the department.
- Research the market, understand customer requirements and analyse trends.
- Offer expert advice for advertising campaigns and PR activities.
- Prepare reports and presentations to update management with sales progress.
- Identify new marketing opportunities.
- Attend business seminars, conferences, and workshops to track industry trends.
- Analyse and respond to competitors' strategies and changes in the industry.
- Maximize value from referral networks and business connections.
Operations
- Develop, implement, and monitor day-to-day operational systems and processes to provide visibility into the goals, progress, and obstacles of key initiatives.
- Draw on relationships with department heads, external partners, and vendors to make decisions regarding operational activity and strategic goals.
- Plan, monitor, and analyse key metrics for day-to-day operations to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks.
- Work closely with Human Resources to lead the team with integrity and to establish and maintain a trusting, inclusive, and productive environment.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Required skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in sales, marketing, business or related field.
- Approx. 10+ years in a senior leadership role in a field related to our industry.
- Be business and financially astute.
- Masterful organizational, team management, and leadership skills, backed by previous professional success.
- Impeccable communication and interpersonal skills.
- Superior knowledge of multiple operational functions and principles, including finance, sales and marketing, customer service, production, and employee management.
- Superior negotiation skills for both internal and external purposes.
- Experience in developing budgets and business plans.
- Proven ability to plan and manage operational processes for maximum efficiency and productivity.
- Ability to streamline or implement structures and roles that boost speed and efficiency while supporting rapidly shifting business demands.
- Strong working knowledge of industry regulations and legal guidelines.
- Willingness and ability to travel nationally and internationally.
