Purpose of the role:
To do all the bookkeeping, preparing management accounts for our client’s business and assist the CFO with other areas outside of the financial role, e.g. compliance including FICA.
Responsibilities:
- Monthly and daily tasks will include:
- Passing journals
- Invoicing
- Following up with Debtors
- Loading payments
- Ensuring payments are made within terms with payable
- Assisting with compiling management accounts (ensuring all assertions are met)
- Assisting with collating documents during audits
- Assisting with compliance related submissions
- In the long run, might assist with tax submissions
Requirements:
- Accounting related qualification, along with a SAIPA, CGMA or CIMA designation qualification
- Preferred accounting package - Xero
- 3 - 4 years relevant working experience
