The services of Hays have been retained by our client, a large public body based in Craigavon, to recruit an Electrical Project Manager (Officer) on a temporary basis for an initial period of 6 months with the possibility of further extension.
Your new role
This is a temporary contract position for an initial 6 months but likely to present a permanent opportunity.Working within the Projects team you will oversee a mix of small to medium size electrical works such as PV, Lighting and Metering schemes.Duties will include the co-ordination of all processes and documentation from project inception, development through to completion and evaluation, with a strong focus on commissioning/quality assurance process.You will ensure, relevant legislative and statutory requirements are met. Cost and budgets are within financial targets. Reports are compiled for review on project progress. Attend project and stakeholder meetings and carryout critical analysis.
What you'll need to succeed
As a minimum, you will have a 3rd level qualification such as HNC/D (or equivalent) and be able to demonstrate 2 years experience of electrical project management in the construction or property maintenance sector.The ability to use AutoCAD would be desirable.You will require a full UK driving licence and access to a suitable vehicle.
