We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice. As a Dental Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, assisting the dental team, and ensuring the smooth operation of the practice.
*Responsibilities*
* Assist dentists during various dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available.
* Provide chairside support to enhance patient comfort and care during treatments.
* Maintain accurate patient records and update information as required.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including infection control protocols.
* Communicate effectively with patients, providing them with information about treatments and aftercare.
* Manage appointment scheduling and follow-up communications with patients.
* Support the dental team in administrative tasks as needed, utilising IT skills for record management.
* Maintain an organised and clean work environment to promote efficiency within the practice.
*Experience*
* Previous experience as a Dental Nurse is preferred but not essential; newly qualified nurses are encouraged to apply.
* Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in English.
* A genuine passion for patient care and a commitment to delivering high standards of service.
* Familiarity with dental software systems is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided where necessary.
