We are one of the first work-from-anywhere companies with 2,000+ team members utilizing our virtual office called eXp world. This role is work-from-anywhere in South Africa.
Fully remote from South Africa: Working hours based on British Columbia, Canada business hours schedule.
Schedule: Five days per week, 18:00 - 02:00 South Africa Standard Time.
Total Pay: The total pay is between 30,000 ZAR - 35,000 ZAR per month maximum, and is dependent upon location, experience, skills, and training.

What you will do:

This position requires maturity, a willingness and devotion to putting the needs of the company and its agent shareholders and customers ahead of their own personal needs. This individual must have high attention to detail and has a clear understanding of basic accounting principles and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
- Process all transactions slated for eXpress Pay are processed on a timely basis
- Post A/P invoices in a timely manner
- Pay A/P invoices and process payments to Agents and outside sources (including lawyers/OB)
- Prepare payment of monthly Revenue Share
- Process all Excess prior to and at closing as directed
- Prepare payment to licensed assistants charging back associated Agent
- Assist A/P Team Lead with any special projects and requests
- Adjustments to correct any payments made in error
- Prepare JE's for account adjustments
- Maintain correct banking information for outside sources
- Maintain A/P spreadsheet
- Assist Team Lead with any required reconciliations
- Assist AST with HubSpot emails
- Assist in ad hoc projects as required
- Process all RODs (Return of Deposit) as directed by the Transaction Closing Team
- Regularly attend Team meetings to keep up to date with all changes/updates to policy and procedures
- Other Accountabilities as Assigned

- Proficient knowledge of G Suite required; Microsoft Office experience is a bonus
- Remote Work experience required
- Dedicated home-office/work space
- Advanced Trello experience preferred
- Aptitude for using online platforms and software to work remotely
Education & Experience: - High school diploma required or equivalent years of applicable experience
- Associate's degree preferred
- 1-2+ years experience in Canadian Real Estate
- 1-2+ years experience working in Accounts Payable
- Basic understanding of basic accounting principles
- Prior experience with Broker Wolf experience strongly preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word & Excel and Google docs required
- Must be comfortable in a remote office environment working with various communication technologies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be highly flexible, working in a very fast-paced environment and have a strong attention to detail
- Must have a positive attitude and excellent ability to work independently with little supervision
- Willing to work additional hours if required
