Job Responsibilities

Provide clerical support to managers and employees and coordinate all daily administrative activities.
Accurately capture the nominal ledger/general ledger, which is the main accounting record for a store’s financial transactions .
Capture cheques, other deposits, and debits on bank statements.
Reconcile balance sheet control accounts and submit monthly packs including certain Income & Expenditure accounts.
Efficiently assess and record the amount of stock held by the store.
Analyze variance reports prior to flash submission.
Ensure the successful completion and submission of VAT returns and RSC levies.
Accurately compile monthly cash flows and cash flow forecasts.
Assist with the compilation of standard budgets/forecasts in conjunction with the Operator.
Uphold and promote the company values and culture.

Minimum Requirements

Grade 12.
Studying towards an accounting qualification or holds a bookkeeping certificate.
3 years of general administration duties.
