Duties & Responsibilities
- Create and develop solutions and functionality that drives the growth of business
- Responsible for writing and testing code
- Own the execution of automated testing
- Advise on software deployment
- Work cross-functionally to deliver software components while collaborating with the product team
- Design and integrate solutions through automation and coding, using 3rd party software
- Create, craft and debug large scale distributed systems
- Lead on writing, updating and maintaining the technical program, end-user documentation, and operational procedures
- Responsible for refactoring code
- Advise on the reviewing of code written by other developers
Desired Experience & Qualification
Knowledge, Skills and Attributes:
- Digital experience
- Insurance (short term or life)/financial service industry is advantageous
Client background:
- Custom built solutions (not off the shelf)
- Understanding of back-end integration
- Explore new technologies
- Require adaptable individuals who can work in unstructured environments
Academic Qualifications and Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
