Granor Passi (Pty) Ltd, a leading fruit processor in South Africa, with its Head Office situated in Polokwane (Limpopo), seeks to employ a Quality Systems Officer in Letsitele.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Proper planning, overseeing, and controlling of activities related to the position of Systems Officer for Letsitele.
- Interpret and analyse assessment findings and investigations to determine interventions to improve the quality and food safety management systems.
- Support and effectively communicate with employees, customers, and all stakeholders.
- Execute all functions of Quality Systems Officer as stipulated in the ISO and FSSC standards.
- Report on the performance of the quality and food safety management systems and needs for improvement.
- Promote awareness of customer requirements throughout the organization.
- Liaise with external parties on matters relating to the quality and food safety management systems.
- Administer the ISO, FSSC, SGF, Kosher, Halaal, Fair Trade, FDA, and Consumer Council certifications for Letsitele.
- Ensure adherence to all requirements as stipulated in the various institutions’ standards.
- Follow up and close out audit findings and liaise with certification bodies.
- Ensure that certifications are valid, and all new requirements are implemented and adhered to.
Desired Experience & Qualifications
- National Diploma in Food Technology or equivalent qualification.
- 3 years’ experience in a food factory and 1 year in the quality control section.
- Trained in ISO and FSSC systems and requirements.
- Qualified as an Auditor.
- Successfully audited for ISO and FSSC before.
- No criminal record.
- Good communication, bilingual, and influencing skills.
- Able to work under pressure.
