Duties & Responsibilities
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced PLC Programmer to join a dynamic team. As a PLC Programmer, you will play a crucial role in the development and maintenance of our client's manufacturing processes, ensuring efficiency, reliability, and precision in their production lines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement PLC programs for automated manufacturing systems, including robotic assembly lines, conveyor systems, and material handling equipment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, test, and optimize PLC control systems to meet production requirements and quality standards.
- Program, troubleshoot, and modify PLC logic and HMI (Human Machine Interface) systems to improve performance, reliability, and safety.
- Conduct system integration testing and commissioning of PLC-based control systems, ensuring proper functionality and adherence to specifications.
- Provide technical support and training to production personnel on PLC operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance procedures.
- Work closely with engineers and technicians to identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization through PLC programming.
- Stay informed about industry trends, advancements in PLC technology, and best practices in automation engineering.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience in PLC programming, preferably in the automotive manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as ladder logic, structured text, and function block diagram.
- Hands-on experience with PLC hardware and software, including Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with HMI development software (e.g., FactoryTalk View, WinCC, Wonderware) and SCADA systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical and control systems.
- Experience with electrical schematic design software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical) and 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks) is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
