We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Leasing Administrator. The Leasing Administrator will be responsible for managing the leasing process, including assisting with leasing inquiries, processing lease applications, renewals of current leases and coordinating move-in/move-out procedures. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be highly organized, and have a strong customer service orientation.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to leasing inquiries from prospective and current tenants via phone, email, and in-person
- Assist with processing lease applications, including conducting background checks and credit screenings.
- Coordinate move-in/move-out procedures, including scheduling appointments for showings and inspections as well as tenant installations etc.
- Prepare lease agreements and ensure that all required documentation is completed accurately
- Work closely with the Chief Operations Officer and maintenance staff to ensure that properties are in good condition for current, new and prospective tenants
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of leasing activity and tenant information
- Provide excellent customer service to current and prospective tenants
Minimum Requirements: - Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
- A tertiary qualification in a relevant field will be an added advantage.
- At least 2 to 3 years of experience in property management or real estate leasing
- Valid driver's license and own motor vehicle
- Excellent communication in English and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software such as Novtel
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
