Job Specification
Job purpose: The position will support the implementation of TAU Mining’s standard life of asset cost modelling process as well as providing financial analysis and support for internal projects, supporting the Supply Chain operation by delivering sound governance and administration of Tenders, Contracts, Vendors and MRP, maintenance of a contracts database and contracts files. Execution of MRP and Inventory optimisation and streamlining.

Key Performance Areas:
- Effective interaction and communication with suppliers and customers.
- Control of applying correct procedures for preferential, contract and non-contract purchasing.
- MRP Execution, Inventory Profile and reporting.
- Administer Supply Chain KPIs and Dashboard.
- Ensuring zero discrepancies between the service provider vendor master data records and TAU Mining’s vendor master records.
- Vendor Compliance & Reporting, Vendor/Supplier Verification Audits.
- Tender process oversight and coordination.
- Participate and record all supplier negotiations, i.e., contracts and price increases.
- Accurate Master Data Maintenance, Inventory & Vendors, Contract Price Update and Control Administer all price increases and conduct comparisons through economic indices.
- Contracts oversight and coordination, Supplier Analysis, Pricing Analysis, Tender Analysis, and Spend Analysis.
- Preparing managerial reports on site Supply Chain team's performance and KPIs.
- Travel to TAU Mining’s projects within the RSA for audits, verifications, etc. (up to 30% travel may be required from time to time).
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 Certificate.
- Degree or NQF Level 7 Diploma in Supply Chain /Purchasing/Materials Management or Finance Analysis.
- High level of Computer literacy.
- 3-4 years relevant experience required, preferably within Mining Industry.
- Clean criminal record.
Knowledge, Attitude, Skills & Abilities:
- High degree of business acumen.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
- Advanced financial modelling, analysis skills, and advanced systems modelling abilities.
- Experience with site cost accounting systems such as SAGE / Pastel is preferred and/or experience with operational control systems.
