A leading AutoDesk Software Licence Gold Partner, based in Sunninghill, is seeking a creative and innovative team player to create, design, manage and drive the company’s social media and digital platforms.
Duties & Responsibilities
Graphic Design:
- Bring the brief and concept to life based on Baker Baynes' needs and vision.
- Manage budget, time, and production constraints effectively.
- Prepare mock-ups and present them to clients for approval before finalising design/concept.
- Edit proofs to Head of Marketing specifications, obtaining signoff/approval before finalizing artwork.
- Collaborate with Head of Marketing & EXCO, photographers, and web developers.
- Adapt and roll out approved concepts to various media, above and below the line.
- Adhere to Baker Baynes’ brand identity and guidelines, integrating key supporting brand guidelines.
- Communicate progress and any project issues to internal and external stakeholders.
- Work with external departments to extend concepts and visuals to other marketing-related material.
- Ensure artwork is correct and supplied in the right format/sizes/colour codes before production.
- Manage multiple briefs simultaneously.
Social Media:
- Develop and execute social media strategies for LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.
- Measure and report on growth in followers, engagement rates, and platform-specific KPIs.
Video Creation:
- Develop and create engaging videos to support marketing initiatives and campaigns.
- Measure and report on video views, engagement, and alignment with campaign goals.
Electronic Direct Mailers & WhatsApp Assets:
- Create invitation, newsletter, and campaign-related electronic direct mailers and WhatsApp assets.
- Ensure alignment with campaign goals and brand guidelines.
Google Adwords:
- Plan, execute, and optimise Google Adwords campaigns.
- Measurement: Click-through rates, conversion rates, and return on ad spend (ROAS)
Analysis & Reporting:
- Analyse and report on the performance of digital marketing initiatives.
- Measurement: Regular reporting on key metrics and insights
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Matric
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Digital Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in graphic design and digital marketing with proven results in digital marketing
- Proficient in graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Illustrator or Affinity)
- Experience in video production and editing (Descript/Video production tools)
- Strong social media strategy development and execution skills (specifically LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram)
- Experience with social media scheduling tools & marketing project management tools.
- Familiarity with electronic direct mailer (Mailchimp) and WhatsApp asset creation
- Excellent project management and time management skills
- Google adwords experience advantageous
