As a Paediatric Site Practitioner, you’ll:
- Provide visible clinical presence and act as a role model and expert practitioner.
- Support the assessment and management of acutely unwell and deteriorating paediatric patients.
- Co-ordinate resources and work closely with on-site Duty Managers.
- Be involved in the PICU step-down process and support bed allocation.
- Participate in the Clinical Emergency Team and Paediatric Hospital at Night Team.
- Ensure timely and appropriate responses to patient needs out of hours.

To be considered for the Paediatric Site Practitioner role, you should have:
- NMC RN Child registration.
- Experience in HDU/Critical Care.
- Paediatric Physical Assessment Skills.
- Current APLS/EPALS provider certification.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Evidence of CPD, such as a Professional Portfolio.
