What will you be doing?
- Supervise Haulage Team to maintain a safe workplace for all employees and contractors. Ensuring that a safe, efficient and compliant service is delivered throughout the day in line with Veolia policies and procedures
- Support the provision of induction and ongoing training for all new starters, contractors and refresher training for existing employees including delivering tool box talks and issuing permits to work
- Real time monitoring of driver workloads to ensure all work completed daily using tracking software
- Daily reconciliation of Weighbridge Tickets from TFS & HWRC's and onward distribution
- Effective planning of holidays to ensure minimal requirement for third party hauliers
What are we looking for?
- Experience gained in a similar role and supervising a small team
- WIMS experience is essential
- CMS Supatrak or other tracking software experience
- Excellent Mathematics and English language skills
- IOSH/NEBOSH experience is desirable
- LGV experience would be an advantage
