Purpose of the job :
Conduct all product measurements activities according to Metrology requirements and principles.
Key Performance Areas:
- Measure components prior assembly analyse trial products during development or test finished goods
- Records and analyse the results in order to decide whether to certify or reject specific products
- Facilitate, analyse MSA studies for machine and tool capability requirements
- Compile quality monthly reports
- Update and display quality performance on all quality boards
- Raise purchase requisition on Syspro for quality department
- prepare and update quality documentation
- Data capturing and assist with internal policies and procedures
- Control and follow up on non-conforming reports
Minimum qualifications:
- Grade 12
- Formal qualification in Quality
- Formal qualification in Metrology
- Extensive knowledge and use of measuring arm equipment
- Minimum of 1 year in a quality department within ISO 9001 or IATF 16949 listed company
