Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified Fitter and Turner to join our team in the plant machinery industry. The role involves assembling, fitting, and maintaining machinery to ensure optimal performance and functionality. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing faults, repairing equipment, and performing routine maintenance to prevent downtime. Candidates should have a strong technical background, be proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, and demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills. At least 3-5 years experience as Fitter & Turner post qualification
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
Responsible for the mechanical maintenance of plant machinery
Upgrading and modifying existing machinery
Machining & manufacturing of parts as required
Maintain minimum waste percentages in workshop within the prescribed target
Ensure that ISO Best Practices / Money Business are adhered to
Ensure that safe work procedures are followed
