Required Education:
- N4 Electrical Engineering (or higher)
- Trade Test
- Wiremans License (Must produce certificate of proof)
Experience:
- Minimum 3 5 years post trade test.
- Computer literacy MS packages
- Working with multiple generators (40+), transformers, medium voltage switchgear experience.
- The role requires a "hands on person" and an individual that is currently consulting.
- Supervise and coordinate electrical maintenance activities
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures
- Plan and schedule maintenance tasks
- Oversee the installation of electrical systems
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide solutions
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities
- Train and mentor junior electrical staff
- Strong verbal and written communication must have the ability to deal with stakeholders both internally and externally, as well as subcontractors.
