RETAIL RISK MANAGER
Must have FMCG/Retail experience
A dynamic, well presented, Retail Risk Manager in the retail / FMCG environment. Full responsibility for overall security in-house & outsourced. Large security team of support. Opening and closing function pre-and post-shopping hours.
Duties & Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the General Manager and Directors of a large FMCG store, providing a safe work environment for the staff and a safe shopping environment for customers.
Risk management and loss control:
- Coordinate outsourced security companies
- Coordinate internal security
- CCTV and Control Room operations
- Investigations and incident reports
- Plan and implement security strategies
- Implement and manage response plans in the event of security incidents
- Update and improve SOPs where necessary
- Festive, special offers and long weekend contingency plans
Inventory Control:
- Coordinate cycle and stock counts
- Investigate variances
- Propose adjustments for approval
- Implement strategies to manage loss control for high-risk lines
Health and Safety:
- Work with appointed HSE consultants to implement OHS act requirements
- Coordinate and manage requirements
- Delegate as appropriate
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Grade 12
- Relevant qualification
- At least 5 years experience in a similar role
- Minimum 5 years retail security management experience
- Computer literate
- Own reliable transport
- Willing to work on Retail Hours
- Clear criminal record
Package: R22k-R25k p/m depending on experience and qualifications
