Mechanical Specialist

Our client in the automotive manufacturing industry requires an experienced Mechanical Specialist for their plant to co-ordinate activities and functions to ensure optimal repairs/ maintenance as per company requirement in all production areas and plants.
Duties
Co-ordinate activities and functions to ensure that maintenance targets are met.
Ensure adequate resources are available.
Manage performance and development of sub-ordinates according to company procedures, work instructions and relevant legislation.
Requirements
NQF 6 Educational level: Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering Diploma/Degree
Must be a qualified Fitter/Millwright/Electrician
Must have training Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Basic PLC & Robotics
Minimum 5 years maintenance experience in a supervisory capacity
Must have Extensive technical background in terms of Press Shop and Assembly maintenance within an automotive environment.
Must understand Quality specifications and systems.
