Our client is seeking a Head of Warehouse that will manage all aspects of the Warehouse streamlining processes and optimizing inventory management. This will be a permanent opportunity based in JHB East.
The Key Responsibilities for this Role Include
- Implement solutions and foster a safety-focused culture
- Warehouse and Operations Management including the planning, monitoring and managing of daily warehouse operations
- Lead a team and manage performance
- Oversee accurate inventory management, cycle counts, bin audits, stock adjustments, and ensuring optimal stock levels and minimizing losses
- Ensuring Safety and Compliance
- Budget and Cost Control
- Oversee logistic functions, including transportation and vehicle fleet management as well as the maintenance of equipment and warehouse conditions
Qualification
- Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Logistics and Supply Chain Management
- SHEQ Certification
Experience
- 8+ years’ experience in a Head of Warehouse role within the FMCG warehouse or packhouse environment
- Proficient in Warehouse Procedures and Policies
- Experience with Inventory, Budget and Cost Control
- Experience with Logistics and Equipment Management
