Food and Beverage Manager
The Food and Beverage Manager will run and oversee the catering team in all aspects of food creation, preparation, and service. You will play a crucial role in development, achieving maximum sales and profit. You will be building and motivating a team to deliver a high standard of food preparation, delivery, and customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Run and oversee the catering.
- Develop and maintain working practices in line with food hygiene & safety regulations.
- Lead and motivate a team to deliver a high standard of food preparation and service.
- Build and motivate a team to ensure the best customer service.
- Coordinate and oversee the catering team in a structured daily routine ensuring the highest standards are met.
- Develop and maintain procedures for stock control, stores, and refrigeration.
- Develop excellent relationships with internal and external clients.
- Develop opportunities to increase revenue.
- Constantly review and improve processes and supplier selection.
- Develop and change menus to ensure a refreshed look and feel both to the café and restaurant.
Minimum Requirements:
Experience: 2 years’ experience of working as a Catering / Food and Beverage Manager. Experience in formal Hospitality Environment. Experience of leading and motivating a team. Experience of working in a customer service environment. Experience of financial accountability.
Knowledge: Excellent Culinary Skills. Good Knowledge of catering products. Sound awareness of health & Safety and food legislation.
Personal Aptitude & Skills: A flair for food innovation. Good organisational and leadership skills and the ability to plan and prioritise workloads. The ability to communicate with a wide range of people, internally and externally. Ability to work without supervision. The ability to drive and maintain standards & positive change.
Disposition: Enthusiastic and energetic.
Other Requirements: The ability to work shifts, weekends, and support special events.
