An opportunity exists for an exceptional Girls Junior Prep Sports Co-ordinator to join the school from 01 January 2025 .
Duties (not an exhaustive list):
- Responsible for all Grade 0 - 2 Physical Education lessons
- Responsible for the planning and running of all JP Sports demonstrations and sporting events
- Host coffee mornings and parent meetings relating to sport in the JP
- Assisting with the Senior Prep sports programme – coaching and officiating (weekdays and weekends)
- Building the curriculum taking developmental phases into account
- Engage and inspire girls, encouraging a love of physical activity and sportsmanship
- Select, train and monitor coaches
- Coach and umpire as appropriate
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Tertiary qualification
- SACE registered
- 3 years of physical education teaching experience working with children aged 5 - 8
- Experience in coaching and officiating several different sporting codes
- Accredited swimming qualification (LTS)
- Must be a proficient swimmer
- Junior Prep teaching experience would be advantageous
- Own transport would be advantageous
