Job Title: Digital Strategist
Reports To: Digital and Social Media Director
Job Summary: Penquin Advertising is on the lookout for a dynamic Mid-level Digital Strategist who will be responsible for building and executing impactful digital campaigns for our diverse range of clients.
You'll have the opportunity to lead in delivering digital excellence by working collaboratively with our talented in-house team, including content creators, designers, developers, strategists, account managers, and project managers. You'll analyse user data, report on the performance of your strategies, and refine approaches to maximize impact.
What you’ll do
As a mid-level digital strategist at Penquin, you’ll be a crucial part of our mission to achieve outstanding results for our clients. Reporting to the digital and social media director, you’ll drive digital projects forward with a keen eye for results and innovation.
Key responsibilities
- Execute and oversee digital campaigns from ideation to implementation.
- Assess and refine digital strategies to improve performance and achieve KPIs, ROI, and lead conversion.
- Develop integrated and cost-effective digital strategies tailored to client goals.
- Work alongside our design and content teams to ensure that web, design, and video assets align with strategic objectives, focusing on optimal UX/UI.
- Drive targeted content strategies and optimize SEO.
- Oversee all digital marketing channels (website, blogs, emails, social media) to maintain brand consistency.
- Analyse user and customer data to inform strategies and deliver value to clients.
- Report on campaign performance and digital metrics.
Requirements
- Minimum of three years’ experience in a Digital Strategist or Digital Marketing role.
- A degree in advertising, marketing, communication science, or a related field.
- Solid experience working within an agency environment.
- Expertise in paid advertising channels and campaign management.
- Strong web/digital analytics and reporting skills.
- Proficiency with emerging digital tools and trends.
- In-depth understanding of various digital touchpoints.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative spirit.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with CRM systems.
- Experience with marketing automation tools.
- Knowledge of inbound marketing strategies.
