REQUIREMENTS:
- +5 years relevant experience
- CA(SA) or CIMA qualifications
- +5 years relevant public experience
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintaining a close liaison with the accounting authority and the executive team
- Responding to changing needs for financial information and advice
- Contributing to the financial aspects of the strategic planning process
- Ensuring that internal financial targets and budgets are fully consistent with the strategic plan and relevant agreements with the Accounting Authority and other regulatory bodies
- Managing working capital, assets, and liabilities
- Managing the accounting and finance staff
- Managing expenditure
- Managing revenue
- Managing reporting
- Maintaining systems of internal control, which comply with internal and external audit requirements.
