CORE PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Finance Manager for Hirt and Carter Print Division is responsible for leading the financial management and
reporting functions, ensuring the financial health and regulatory compliance of the division. This role provides
strategic financial support to the management team, facilitates accurate budgeting and forecasting, and ensures
efficient working capital management.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
- Provide Financial leadership for Hirt and Carter Print Division
- Ensure a margin analysis is undertaken monthly and variances reported
- Ensure relevant margins for the business are achieved and maintained
- Review all balance sheet reconciliations whilst ensuring that all variances are effectively and timeously addressed
- Ensure audit deliverables and auditors requests are addressed within agreed timeframes
- Set up budget plan in accordance with HC Group budget plan and timelines
- Preparing of capex justifications and post implementation measurement and reviews
- Manage and improve the working capital requirements for the business
- Provide accurate and timeous reports to management as and when required
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:
- CA or CIMA with at least 5 to 7 years’ post articles experience in a similar role with a medium to large organisation with experience in financial analysis and business processes reporting and documenting
- Experience in managing the accounting function and delivering timely and accurate financial and management information in a challenging and dynamic commercial environment
- Broad understanding of business processes and controls relating to optimal working capital management
- Experience with project management methodologies
