We are looking for a Commercial Sales Broker to join our team who specialise in Letting and Sales of warehouses, offices and shops in all the key commercial areas for our offices in Durban. The main focus will be finding new business and assisting landlords with Sales. The candidate must be self-motivated, possess excellent communication skills, be honest and reliable with a high standard of client ethics, and have great negotiation skills. A driver’s license and own vehicle are essential.
Job Responsibilities (but not limited):
- Provide guidance and assist sellers and buyers in marketing and purchasing property.
- Understand clients’ needs and financial abilities.
- Negotiate processes, consult clients on market conditions, prices, legal requirements, and related matters, ensuring fair and honest dealings.
- Perform comparative market analysis to estimate properties’ value.
- Prepare necessary paperwork (Offer to purchase, FICA documents, checklists, etc.).
- Maintain and update listings of available properties.
- Promote sales through advertisements, property viewings, and listing services.
- Remain knowledgeable about real estate markets and best practices.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Matriculation.
- Agent must hold a FFC (Fidelity Fund Certificate).
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Previous commercial property knowledge is an advantage.
- EEAB – NQF Level 4 certificate is an added advantage.
- Must have own vehicle.
