We are thrilled to be partnering with this leading organization in Durban who are recruiting for a Sales and Fundraising Officer on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will generate and retain funds for existing clients and manage client relationships across the KZN region and nationally.
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Reviewing all client contracts/SLAs ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPS)
- Clear and frequent communication with both existing and new clients
- Address all queries, questions and ensure that these are handled timeously, accurately and to the client’s satisfaction which includes collaborating operationally to ensure that it is done
- Maintain an accurate and updated database on all clients including uploads of relevant supporting documentation
- Ensure proposals are professional (utilise existing templates) and effective and addresses client needs succinctly
The successful candidate will have:
- 5 to 7 years in a similar role with a strong focus on customer service, retention and securing new business (Fundraising)
- Must have own motor vehicle and a valid driver’s licence
- Must have a proven track record in securing funding from a variety of sources (Corporates, Foundations, Trusts, Individuals, etc.) and a self-starter preferably with their own client base
