Introduction
A leading retailer in the FMCG sector is looking for a People Delivery Specialist at their Distribution Centre in Brackenfell area.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Recruitment and appointment of staff in line with branch staffing requirements.
- Staff compliance with the company conditions of employment.
- All factors affecting Payroll input and the timeous submission thereof to HO as well as the administration of payslips.
- Administration and management of all staff benefits including death and disability.
- Staff terminations.
- Dealing with all employment related queries.
- Capturing Human-Resources related statistics for Head Office.
- Ensuring that disciplinary hearings are effectively dealt with.
- Preparing for and attending to CCMA matters.
- Facilitating Occupational Health and Safety in the branch.
- Arranging and facilitating training in conjunction with the FM Training Manager.
- Assisting/contributing at a management level to the achievement of performance.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Tertiary education: a relevant B-Tech or degree in human resources or related field.
- Previous experience: 2-5 years in a similar position is essential. A proven track record with traceable references is essential.
- Computer literacy: candidates must have a good level of computer literacy. Strong data analytical skills.
- Special skills: good interpersonal skills at management and staff level.
- Valid driver’s license and own transport.
- Experience in a distribution centre environment would be an added advantage.
