Sales and Business Development Manager – Solar Energy, South Africa Region
As a growing international solar EPC company, we are extending our South African Sales and Business Development team and seeking a multi-faceted marketer – Solar Sales Manager for the development of renewable energy projects and covering cross-country sales.
Area of Responsibility:
- Development of new leads in the B2B segment while growing sales and supporting existing customers in assigned markets.
- Driving sales strategy across multiple channels with clear, understandable metrics.
- Monitoring the timeliness of receiving payments from clients.
- Resolving customer inquiries and complaints.
- Collaborating with the marketing team in lead generation, acquisition, and participation in thematic exhibitions, conferences, and forums.
- Preparing sales bullet points for organizing and presenting information to clients.
- Project ownership of the client’s journey from end to end towards the NEOSUN brand.
Requirements:
- Experience in active sales of renewable energy solutions for the B2B market (3+ years) with a strong background in sales of technical solutions.
- Specific knowledge of solar and other renewable energy technologies is required.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to thrive in an international environment.
- Professional networking and stakeholder partnerships in the renewable energy business environment.
- Project management experience to cover the whole sales cycle.
- Ability to maintain the highest level of sales negotiation, ethics, and integrity.
- Technical education.
- Fluent or native English (C1+).
- Experience working or studying abroad within international settings is a plus.
- Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing goals and set priorities.
- High level of independence, initiative, and result orientation.
- Code 8 South African driver's license.
- Willingness for frequent business trips to client locations and HQ.
