Our client in the Service, Trading and Distribution Industry is looking for a Junior Facilities Manager to join their performance-driven team. If you meet the below requirements, do not hesitate to send your CV for consideration.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for driving integrated Facilities Management (FM) services and strategy for the client.
- Ensure the delivery of efficient FM services as outlined in the Service Level Agreement (SLA).
- Implement an effective HSE, Quality & Risk Management system in conjunction with the Contracts Manager and in alignment with client needs.
- Conduct daily audits on FM services rendered to ensure that prescribed work quality and standards are consistently maintained.
- Ensure timely sign-off and provide variance explanations on P&Ls.
- Identify gaps and deficiencies in services, provide advice, and implement solutions as part of a continuous improvement process for FM services.
- Manage back-to-back SLA agreements with suppliers and contractors.
- Monitor service providers' (contractors') performance and implement corrective actions for any deviations from the SLA.
- Assist in the management of FM projects and provide technical support when applicable.
- Demonstrate and instill effective adherence to processes related to infrastructure maintenance.
- Explore and recommend innovative, cost-effective methods based on best practices.
- Ensure timely processing of invoices.
- Provide monthly reports and feedback on continued compliance with the SLA.
- Build strategic relationships both internally and externally.
- Manage staff performance and facilitate improvement through regular monitoring, coaching, support, and feedback.
- Address performance issues and conflicts within subordinate employees, and implement corrective actions in line with company policies and procedures.
- Ensure adequate staff placement by preparing suitable shift rosters and managing/approving leave for subordinate employees.
- Responsible for training, coaching, mentoring, and developing subordinate employees.
Requirements
National Diploma/Degree: Facilities Management, Property Management, Operations Management or related FM formal qualification.
Matric: (Senior Certificate)
Valid SA Drivers License
Experience: in Facilities Management, CRM, Property Management & Financial Management.
Knowledge: of OHS Act, ISO 9001 Quality Management, Risk Management Systems, Property Law & Contractual Law.
