IT Business Development Manager - Yealink
We are looking for a highly ambitious Business Development Manager to manage assigned reseller accounts ensuring the growth and development of the relevant brand sales and its offerings according to the target(s) set. In addition to assisting partners with business opportunities, lead generation, marketing initiatives and understanding of the relevant programs and routes to maximize partners' reach to the market share.

Duties & Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Manage the sales and Brand performance function
- Meet and exceed revenue targets
- Ongoing expansion of Active Partner base
- Sales across all countries in SADC
- Continuously review monthly the business strategy and the investment of the rebate earned through it
- Develop a healthy pipeline across all brands
- Marketing Management
- Implement key sales & marketing strategies throughout SADC
- Engage with the brand in Quarterly and Annual Marketing Planning sessions with Relevant brands and (non-relevant brand Targeted Partners Partner Enablement (Targets, Certificates, growth)
- Execute quarterly Promo and Program planning sessions
- Develop an Account Plan that documents the key sales & marketing strategies and a management system that measures performance and success with a focus list
- Debt Collection
- Actively monitor collection across your partner base. Active engagement until payment is received in full
- Dealing with your partner till resolution in full is a key function of your role.
- Taking ownership and accountability for all partner queries, whether sales, technical, or finance related
- Manage the Sales of the Brand performance for relevant product set and relevant base
- Driving revenue targets through a targeted set of relevant brand partners, resellers
- Driving Relevant brand Strategy and portfolio within existing and as per the Focus list
- Display key competencies of knowledge regarding relevant brand programs and relevant portfolio of products
- Quarterly Business Review Session with Relevant brand
- Drive targeted partner development planning and reviews as per the focus list
- Drive Relevant brand Product Strategy and overview sessions with Business Partners
- Existing and New (brand-specific) partner recruitment and Development
- On-boarding process regarding Operational process within focus list
- Build and manage effective relationships with relevant brand team members
- Ensure the satisfactory execution of the aligned business plan in conjunction with the Strategic business partners Execs and Brand Managers
- Report opportunity details to Relevant brands on a regular basis (weekly) showing deal progression and pipeline creation using the Customer Relationship Management system
- Ensure that sales targets are achieved and report any deviations with detailed explanations
- Ensure weekly activities and minutes of meetings are reported to the Brand Manager
- Ensure productivity reports are submitted to the Brand Manager
- Administration
- Load CRM
- Follow up on quotes
- Follow up on operations responses
- Manage SLA with brand operations
Desired Experience & Qualification
Requirements:
- Completed Diploma / Certificate in IT – beneficial
- Strong Microsoft Excel – Advanced Level – essential
- Accpac CRM knowledge – highly beneficial
- Proficient with MS Office (MS Word, MS Excel & MS PowerPoint)
- 5+ years experience in a Business Development or Account Management role
- Own vehicle with a valid driver’s license
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Creative and solution driven
- Open to working in an Agile environment where changes are frequent and technologies evolve
- Highly organized
- Focused and performance driven
- Knowledge of relevant Yealink products and processes
- Knowledge of Vendor structure to have the correct point of contact
- Knowledge of the information management industry in South Africa
- Knowledge of ICT industry
- Ability to deliver on service-level agreements
- Remains calm under pressure
- Previous experience selling Networking products/solutions beneficial
- Proven history of achievement in New Business Development
- Creative, solution-driven attitude
Package & Remuneration
The Position: We’re looking for an ICT Business Development Manager to be based permanently in Centurion. The pay range on offer is a basic salary between R30 000.00 to R40 000.00 CtC Per Month. This is not a remote working position and standard working hours from the office in Centurion will apply.
