Duties & Responsibilities
Are you a skilled and experienced accountant looking to take the next step in your career? A leading financial services provider is seeking a talented Group IFRS Reporting Accountant to join their dynamic team! As a Group IFRS Reporting Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). You will collaborate with various stakeholders to analyze financial data, prepare financial statements, and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
Duties:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
- Coordinate the month-end, interim, and year-end reporting processes.
- Provide technical accounting guidance and support to stakeholders.
- Assist in the implementation of new accounting standards and policies.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits.
- Drive process improvements and efficiencies in financial reporting.
Job Experience & Skills Required:
Qualifications:
- Matric (Grade 12)
- BCom
- BCom Honours / CTA
- CA(SA)
Experience:
- Completed SAICA Articles
- Solid 1-2 years’ experience with core understanding of IFRS and financial reporting principles.
- Previous experience in financial reporting, preferably in the financial services industry.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
