Position Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and results-oriented Business Development Manager to join my client’s team. This role will be critical in driving growth and expanding our client base by developing strategic partnerships, understanding client needs, and delivering tailored banking and investment solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in banking or financial services.
- Proven track record of successfully driving business growth and achieving sales targets.
- Strong understanding of private banking, wealth management, and investment products.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
- Proficient in using CRM software and other business development tools
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.
- Identify and engage potential clients, including individuals, small to medium enterprises, and corporates, to understand their banking and investment needs.
- Present and promote our client’s range of services, including transactional banking, finance, cash investments, foreign exchange, and life insurance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and intermediaries, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
- Collaborate with internal teams to create customized proposals and presentations that address client requirements.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and opportunities for growth.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring alignment with company policies and mutual benefits.
- Monitor and report on business development activities, providing regular updates to senior management.
- Attend industry conferences, networking events, and meetings to represent our client and generate new leads.
- Stay informed about industry developments and changes in banking and investment regulations to provide clients with up-to-date insights.
