Job Description:
Continam Industrial Services CC is seeking a skilled and qualified Electrician with extensive crimping experience to join our team for a substation project. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing electrical installations, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and carrying out crimping tasks essential for electrical connections.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform crimping of electrical cables for installation in the substation.
Carry out electrical installations in line with project specifications.
Ensure the use of correct tools and techniques for crimping and cable termination.
Conduct safety inspections and testing of completed electrical work.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure project deadlines are met.
Requirements:
Relevant electrician certification (Trade test etc).
Proven experience in electrical crimping, particularly within substation environments (Crimping courses, substation courses etc).
Knowledge of electrical safety standards and regulations.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Previous experience in substation projects will be an advantage.
