Business Development Manager
Our client, an asset finance company based in Sandton, is looking for a heavyweight, senior Business Development Manager to join their team. You will be offering a cost-saving finance solution at C-Suite level to JSE listed companies.
Duties & Responsibilities
The position requires the BDM to find quality leads and convert them into successful product, service, and solution deals. As you will be working at this senior level, your previous experience and contacts with CEOs and similar executives are paramount to your success. This is a long sales cycle, and we need persistent, tenacious “stayers” who will see things through and can go the distance. You need to have above average financial acumen as this is required when presenting the offering to clients. You need to understand the tax implications of leasing/financing as opposed to outright purchases of standard and specialised business equipment.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Must have requirements:
- You will need a degree in either business management or financial management for this position.
- At least 5 years of sales experience in dealing with JSE Listed companies and C-Suite clientele.
- You will have the ability to build a solution for your client and then make sure you can sell the financial benefits and rewards for a large company.
- Stable employment record.
