Candidate Profile
- Engineer with min 5 years relevant experience in logistics operations, transport or technical, incl on site positions;
- Good knowledge of company rules, methods, systems; Good communication skills; Lean YB required, 6 s GB would be a plus.
- Ability to build good local and Company network, strong personality, legitimate experience for the role, open minded, curiosity and drive to change and implement new systems.
Activities
- Ensures the deployment of a continuous improvement Lean culture (and if possible 6 s) throughout the whole L&T department to implement, adapt, simplify or improve appropriate methods, rules and specifications;
- Carries out Lean projects on the perimeter of actions as per the strategic roadmap to contribute to the improvement of performance, daily;
- Contributes to the coaching of project leaders in the perimeter of action (Transport, Technical or Operations);
- Assist the Methods & Performance Manager in the organization and delivery of Lean trainings;
- Develops localized, operational and technical methods, processes, rules & specifications within L&T department and more precisely on the perimeter of action which can be either Transport, Technical or Operations;
- Contributes to the elaboration of TMSA Quality Operations and Technical Manual repository and keeps it up to date;
- Upon request of Methods & Performance Manager, assess regularly of TMSA L&T rules with regards to regulatory expectations (company/legal) and ensures localized L&T methods, rules and specifications comply;
- Harmonizes the methods, rules and specifications across the depots network and the operational divisions to ensure cost efficient implementation without impeding on site specificities;
- Contributes to the Management Of Change (MOC) process, and their follow up with the operational entities whenever new or modified localized rules and specifications are implemented;
- Contributes to setting of quality governance rules within TMSA L&T department, and monitors their implementation;
- Contributes to the development of new L&T trainings whenever necessary in collaboration with the L&T divisions;
- Controls that operations on the perimeter of action (Technical, on site, or Transport) are carried out in compliance with the adopted standards. Performs regular review of standards and checks that they are respected;
- Contributes to the coordination of Company audits (Maestro Log, DAG) preparations and TMSA audit action plans follow up;
- Assists, when required, the L&T divisions in the preparation or update of SOW, method statement, etc. to ensure compliance with TMSA’s rules and specs;
- Supports development planning in line with company strategy in collaboration with the Logistics Development Coordinator;
- Contributes to the implementation of Visual Management of Performance culture throughout the perimeter in charge;
- Contributes to the monitoring of the Lean roadmap deployment.
