A Project Manager leads the day-to-day workflow of integrated projects and teams – but for business processes, not client projects. They provide a point of integration between Client Leads, Finance, Resource Management, and Operations. They manage business priorities, team structures, resourcing, billings, and scheduling across the business unit. They collaborate with Account and Specialty peers to ensure that project deliverables connect with business basics as well as creative intent, while meeting time specifications and budget parameters.
This role sits at the center of our business, collaborating with business leads and best-in-class teams to ensure Edelman ideas make an impact in our clients' worlds while also delivering on our own business goals. We are fanatics about integrated project management and collaboration across departments, providing specialist support to our business leads so that they can focus on delivering creative impact, strategic counsel, and excellence of delivery for our clients.
This is an exciting opportunity for a process-oriented, go-getter who wants to become a key part of a forward-thinking, integrated team – someone who enjoys talking business planning and using data and insights to help drive decision-making. We want passion and excitement, but also structure and conviction of thought. We want someone who is unafraid to ask questions, willing to challenge the norm, and eager to be the best in the business. An analytical mindset is also essential.
Our Project Managers are fluent in budget management, scoping of work, resourcing of teams, and setting clients up for success. They have the experience to lead the day-to-day work on integrated areas of the business, the drive to ensure flawless execution, and the ability to influence teams to achieve great work within the boundaries of scope, time, and budget. They are comfortable being the interface between different departments such as Finance, Resource Management, Operations, and Client Service.
