Acumen Group is currently seeking a CA(SA) with expertise in reinsurance to join our team fully remotely.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Strategize and implement user acceptance test procedures.
- Provide assistance for all areas related to the Workday ERP implementation.
- Analyse quarterly financial statement information, prepare variance analyses, and complete financial reporting quarterly tasks.
- Liaise across various functions and jurisdictions to ensure all stakeholders are properly considered.
- Liaise with counterparts in other jurisdictions to achieve alignment on approach and progress.
- Assist in providing regular project updates and communications to wider teams.
- Support finance teams' quarterly reporting processes by performing system reconciliations, general ledger analysis, group reporting disclosures, outwards reinsurance, and capital solutions reporting and regulatory reporting inputs as necessary.
- Assist on segment-wide IT initiatives affecting finance, i.e., changes to the policy administration system, data warehouse, etc.
- Participate in ad-hoc work as required.
- Data analytics and change management.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- CA(SA) with 5+ years post experience or Bcom in Accounting with 10+ years experience in Reinsurance.
