Operational Support Planner, PPR Key Orders
To support production in any operational matters and help drive Retrofit and Spares Components through Manufacturing and Assembly.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Drive allocated actions from Spares & Retrofit Manufacturing Key order management.
- Interact with and source information from QA, QC, Engineering, Sales and OE departments.
- Support tool store to ensure programs are scheduled.
- Be present for customer witness on major manufactured items.
- Responsible for execution of allocated front-end projects – Manufacturing elements.
- Attend DAM, relevant kick-off meeting for KO’s, 6-week forward load and key order tracker meetings.
- Ensure replacement pressure test equipment is procured/ manufactured and stored.
- Prioritize saw, pressure test, fettling, painting, and sand blast in conjunction with MPS.
- Create rework orders to address the requirements associated with NCRs.
- Administer Kit box schedules in line with planned stores dates.
- Flag when allocated key orders slip on manufacturing schedules (Internal & External) - Investigate recovery plans.
- Investigate manufactured component related customer complaints/ returns.
- Approval of managed projects including acceptance of completed units.
- Actively support and contribute to parts manufacturing strategy and its implementation.
- Ensure all quality criteria has been completed at the correct stage.
- Seek opportunities to develop working practices to facilitate continuous improvement in OTD and job cost performance.
- Proactively engage and support company initiatives designed to promote a culture of safe working, environmental protection, and continual improvement.
- All other duties as relevant to the post.

Qualifications/Experience and Knowledge Required
- Relevant experience within related industry.
- Diploma/ Certificate in Production Engineering is advantageous.
- Experience with ERP systems.
- Understanding of heavy manufacturing processes.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office Packages.
- 5 years’ experience in the Engineering/ Manufacturing environment.
