The Purpose of the Role
Honeywell is seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer I to join our team. This position plays a crucial role in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of complex systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain Honeywell systems on the customer site in accordance with the Service Level Agreement (SLA).
- Provide ongoing support for Honeywell systems installed at the customer site.
- Perform scheduled maintenance and ad-hoc work on Honeywell TPS and Experion hardware, including CRO/PHD APP nodes, Experion Servers, and Workstations, following procedures and schedules.
- Complete monthly preventative system maintenance checklists for TPS on time.
- Prepare monthly KPI reports using Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Troubleshoot and analyze issues under both normal and abnormal conditions.
- Assist the Advanced Solutions group with engineering tasks and projects.
- Support various functions in the CCII process domain.
- Ensure regular updates of antivirus software across all Honeywell EPKS systems.
- Perform standby duties and respond to callouts as required by procedure.
- Create and maintain backups for servers and workstations.
- Collaborate with Honeywell's Global Technical Team to implement solutions for the installed base where applicable.
YOU MUST HAVE
- Diploma in Computer Science, IT or related field.
- Windows qualification to relevant operating systems will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Extensive knowledge of system installation, configuration, and maintenance.
- Understanding of electrical and mechanical systems where Honeywell technology is installed will be an added advantage.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+ will be an added advantage.
- Honeywell CEAT certification i.e. TPS and or Networking will be an added advantage.
WE VALUE

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
