We are looking for a creative, brand-oriented ecommerce administrator who has both strong creative and admin skills. The role is suited to a candidate who is detailed orientated and thrives working in a fast-paced environment, has a hunger for new and innovative ideas with the ability to shape those ideas into actionable strategies and tactical executions. The candidate should be able to adapt quickly to change, making constant adjustments to strategy, process, and work output based on the ever-changing digital environment and needs of consumers. We are looking for a positive go-getter that can support our E-commerce team to own various aspects of our website ranging from product placement to design and graphics.

Product upload & maintenance:
- Working with the photographer to plan product uploads a month in advance based on shipping/delivery dates of new products, to ensure products are uploaded to the ecommerce platform timeously and are always up to date.
- Upload all products onto the ecommerce platform once the edited product images have been received from photographer.
- Ensure all products have been uploaded according to Standard Operating Procedures and descriptions, specifications, categories, brands etc. are correct and up to date.
- Creating and updating content regularly, including the homepage, landing pages and featured content across the site.
- Work closely with the Development team to set up, test and document new site features.
- Daily monitoring & maintenance of all site functionalities (using “crons” that are emailed to you daily) to report/fix bugs and errors and ensure optimal user experience.
- Writing SEO for all products.
- Make recommendations for changes to the site based on market trends, opportunities, promotions, and competitor analysis.
- Proactively and confidently provide creative ideas for new product and marketing design efforts to increase brand awareness and sales for the ecommerce platform.
- Prepare and execute online promotions to drive conversions and increase traffic & average cart value.
- Conduct monthly site maintenance of products by clearing out of stock items, archiving old stock etc according to Standard Operating procedures.
- Assist marketing team with ad-hoc tasks.
Electronic newsletters:
- Plan, create and execute regular digital newsletter campaigns, this includes managing email databases, crafting engaging newsletters, and leveraging web technologies to drive sales growth (workflow management).
- Post-campaign reporting & analysis to make strategic recommendations for improvements .
Requirements and skills:
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
- Ability to work well within a team environment.
- Proficient in WordPress or similar.
- Proficient in Everlytic or similar
- Understanding of ecommerce and digital marketing.
- At least one year of experience within ecommerce industry.
- Experience in the fashion industry will be an advantage.
- Must be detail oriented and highly creative
- Ability to generate reports and market analysis
