Senior Energy Consultant
Leading international consulting engineering firm is looking for a Senior Energy Consultant with a focus on Grid connections and large project context to join their Energy Division in Cape Town or Johannesburg.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- BSc. or BEng. in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering
- Preferably with a further qualification in renewable energy
- Professionally registered with ECSA
- Around 8 or more years of relevant experience
- Recognizable experience in the energy sector with specific exposure to renewable energy and grid connections
- Project Management experience to lead and deliver technical advisory, owner's engineer, and design services within the renewable energy sector for clients
- Preparing and delivering bids and proposals, writing technical reports and presentations, and reviewing reports, drawings, and presentations by others
- Driving the development of junior energy team members across South African offices via mentoring and provision of technical and commercial guidance
