Job Title: Technology Service Manager

Salary: Circa £55,000
What you’ll be doing:
Taking responsibility for managing the design, procurement, installation, upgrading, operation, control, maintenance, and effective use of specific technology services
Leads the delivery of services, ensuring that agreed service levels, security requirements and other quality standards are met
Ensures adherence to relevant policies and procedures
Ensuring that processes and practices are aligned across teams and providers to operate effectively and efficiently. Monitors the performance of technology services
Provides appropriate status and other reports to managers and senior users
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
A good understanding and appreciation of the ‘consumer’ perspective – you’ll champion UX within the team and understand what our clients need from the team to deliver and enhance their service
You will have a good understanding of BAE finance systems (IBP) and will be the ‘go to’ person in the team for financial queries
A good understanding of ITIL process and service management are essential and you will influence client groups in driving them towards a more ITIL based service management framework
Passion for doing things differently by challenging the norm and inspiring others to do the same through facilitating a culture of trust openness and honesty
You will have experience within APM or Agile or other delivery methodology
Desirable:
Relevant software exposure Inc. ServiceNow / Crown Workforce Manager
AGILE / APM / Prince 2 / ITIL Service Management
