*Overview*
We are seeking reliable and dedicated Multi drop drivers to join our leading postal company, based in Bridgwater. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining a high standard of customer service. This role requires strong communication skills as well as experience in commercial driving.
*Responsibilities*
* Safely operate a delivery vehicle, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations.
* Load and unload goods, performing heavy lifting as required.
* Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to ensure timely arrival at destinations.
* Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and any discrepancies.
* Conduct regular vehicle inspections to ensure safety and proper maintenance.
*Skills*
* Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or Van Driver is essential.
* Strong knowledge of commercial driving regulations and best practices.
* Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with loading and unloading goods.
* Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively.
* Strong organisational skills to manage delivery schedules efficiently.
* A valid driving licence appropriate for the vehicle type being operated is required.
* A security check will be made prior to start date (DBS)
