*Doctors Direct* have an exciting opportunity for a *Speciality Doctor *to work with us at *Enfield, Chase farm Hospital (Female Admissions) *in *Psychiatry.*
We are looking for a doctor dedicated to, and passionate about, improving health and wellbeing within the Enfield Community.
*Your key responsibilities will be to:*
* Join and document ward meetings, morning meetings, ward reviews and at times chair/lead these as well.
* Perform clinical assessments of individuals with mental health problems admitted to the ward.
* Develop knowledge of mental health, including formulation of care plans and provide support to more junior team members.
* Perform physical health checks (bloods, ECGs and physical examinations) and liaise with general hospital/GP colleagues to maintain patient physical health.
* Develop psychiatric interview and risk assessment skills.
* Complete medical recommendations for detention under the Mental Health Act.
* Prepare reports and present evidence at Tribunal hearings with appropriate supervision where necessary.
* To be flexible and accessible in providing appropriate care to the patients.

* *Days per week:* Monday - Friday, 9:00-17:00 (happy to have someone 4 days per week)
* *Start date*: ASAP
* *Rate of pay: *£59 - £70 per hour
* Essential special training: S12
* *Payment method: PAYE *we do NOT facilitate payment through LTD/umbrella companies
