Senior General Leger Accountant / Bilanzbuchhalter (d/m/f)
As part of our accounting team, you will be responsible for general ledger accounting and will take over the following tasks:
- Processing all matters related to general ledger accounting
- Allocating and recording postings to general ledger accounts
- Balancing financial statements and supporting liquidity planning
- Preparation of monthly and annual financial statements (HGB and IFRS)
- Communicating and collaborating with internal and external partners on all topics related to accounting
- Supporting with the preparation and submission of local audits and tax returns
- You have several years of professional experience in general accounting in an international environment.
- You hold a degree in economics with a specialization in finance and accounting or have completed comparable training, e.g., as an accountant.
- You possess in-depth expertise in HGB accounting and have already made adjustments in compliance with IFRS standards.
- You have extensive experience in preparing annual financial statements, conducting balance sheet reconciliations, and handling VAT returns.
- You are proficient with Excel and accounting systems, ideally ERP systems (e.g., Workday, Oracle NetSuite), and LucaNet, which are part of your everyday work.
- You are fluent in English (German skills are desirable).
